Cookies are small text files that websites send to the user’s device, where they are stored and sent back on subsequent visits. Similar technologies (e.g. local storage) may perform comparable functions.

Strictly necessary cookies and similar technologies (Art. 122(1) of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003, as amended) are used without consent because they are essential to provide the service you request (security, navigation, storing your banner choice). Non-essential cookies (statistics and marketing) are processed only after your free, specific and informed consent, which you may withdraw at any time (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) and the Italian DPA guidelines of 10 June 2021).

On first visit we show a banner with equivalent «Accept all» and «Reject all» buttons, plus «Customise». Closing via X equals rejecting non-essential cookies. Scrolling or browsing without interacting with the banner does not constitute consent. Your choice is stored in browser localStorage (swd_cookie_consent key) until you revoke it via «Manage cookies». After rejection, the banner may be shown again after 6 months.

5.1 Technical cookies (always on)

These do not require consent. They support security, session management and storing choices made in the cookie banner.

5.2 Preference cookies

Category reserved for interface choices. We do not currently use preference cookies: language is handled via site URLs (/it, /en).

5.3 Statistics cookies

Collect aggregated information on site usage. If configured on our servers, we use Google Analytics 4, enabled only after consent to the «statistics» category.

5.4 Marketing cookies

Used for promotional or advertising profiling purposes, only with explicit consent. No third-party marketing tools are currently active.

If you accept statistics cookies and Google Analytics is active, some usage data may be processed by Google LLC (United States). Google states that it applies appropriate safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Google Analytics sets statistics cookies only after your consent and if the service is configured. Cloudflare Turnstile may set technical security cookies when you submit a protected form. External links (e.g. WhatsApp) do not set cookies until you visit the third-party service. Please refer to each provider’s privacy notice.

You can configure your browser to block or delete cookies. Disabling technical cookies may affect some site features, including storing banner preferences.

Under GDPR Articles 15–22 you may access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, object and withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before withdrawal. Update cookie preferences via «Manage cookies» in the footer or contact us at the address below.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it) if you believe processing violates applicable law.
